Low-cost Divorce, Start to Finish!

'After 25 years of assisting individuals and businesses in the litigation process, it is very satisfying to help individuals resolve disputes under an umbrella of peace, rather than conflict.' - Paula House

I offer a unique service called “Divorce by Mediation.”  With my service, a divorcing couple can meet with me without attorneys, even if they are in turmoil with a lot of conflict.  I use mediation and problem solving techniques to guide the discussion to find solutions to move forward in life.  Once an agreement is reached, filing for the divorce is routine, using forms provided by the court.  Parties save emotionally and financially.

Divorce Mediation protects your children, your finances, property, mental health, and is confidential. Mediation is the least adversarial and least expensive method of separation and divorce. With mediation, the decision making authority rests with you, not lawyers or judges. Divorce Mediation is faster, simpler, cheaper, private, and just makes sense. There are no losers in divorce mediation.

Some of the features of Divorce by Mediation are:

  • No retainer
  • No clashing lawyersphoto1
  • Confidential process
  • No court involvement until resolution
  • Avoid litigation and trial
  • High conflict or low conflict
  • Contested or uncontested
  • Don't have to be in same room as spouse
  • All issues resolved: custody, child support, alimony, property
  • Complete divorce process, start to final order
  • Consultation with professionals (tax, legal, investment, etc.) may be part of the process
